What are the contents of the Food Boxes? 
Please see the contents of the boxes in the description of each box.

Do you offer a delivery service?
Yes. We would like to reserve as many delivery slots as possible for those who are vulnerable, self-isolating or carers. If this does not apply to you and you are able to collect your fresh food box then we would encourage you to select that option.

VALE OF GLAMORGAN: Monday to Friday from 11am

BRIDGEND: Monday and Wednesday from 11am

RHONDDA CYNON TAF: Tuesday and Thursday from 11am

CARDIFF: Friday from 11am

Can I change my collection day?
If the collection day does not suit you then please let us know immediately so we can allocate you a different day.

Can I change my delivery time?
Our driver plans a route according to where people live so it is not possible to change the time on your delivery day, however, you may contact us prior to 4pm the day before your delivery to change the day . If you are not at home, we will leave your box with a neighbour or on your doorstep. Please note that our boxes contain fresh food, which needs refrigerating, and it is your responsibility to ensure this.

What happens if I select a date for delivery on a day that you do not deliver to that area?
Your delivery will not go out until the next allotted delivery for your county.

Where do I collect my fresh food box?
The access road to Forage Farm Shop and Kitchen via the new roundabout on the A48 is now open. Coming Westbound from Cardiff on the A48 it is the third exit (sign posted Penllyn Estate) off the first round about after the Cowbridge turning. Coming Eastbound from Bridgend on the A48 it is the first exit (sign posted Penllyn Estate) off the round about just before Cowbridge. Enter Penllyn Estate and drive down the private road; Forage is about 600m on your left.  Arrive at the Forage delivery area at the East side of the building. Your box will be delivered to your car.

When can I collect my order?

You can collect your order from Forage Farm Shop: Monday – Friday 11am-4pm. You will select a 30 minute time slot at checkout. Please make sure that you stick to your allocated slot and give us a call if you cannot make it.  

Can I change my collection day?
If the collection day does not suit you then please let us know immediately so we can allocate you a different day.

How are you ensuring I can collect my box(es) safely?
In response to coronavirus we have put in place some protocols to ensure customer safety and to adhere to government guidelines. Please queue at the delivery yard keeping a safe 2m distance.

How are you ensuring I can receive my delivery safely?
Your box will be delivered to the doorstep of the provided address. Our driver will knock on the door and leave the box on your doorstep during the allotted time. Driver’s will comply with our social distancing protocol.

When can I collect my Food Box?
You may collect your box on your chosen date in your 30 minute allotted time slot.

What if I can’t see the cut of meat I would like on the website?

Can I buy a whole lamb?
If you are interested in ordering a whole (£150) or half (£75) lamb then please contact us at It will be traditionally butchered but if there’s any specific cut or trim you would like, then do not hesitate to ask.

Can I pay by cash? 
Sorry we are unable to take cash payments for health & safety reasons. We are only taking payment online via credit or debit card. Please note that whilst we are currently using PayPal as our payment gateway, you do not need a PayPal account to make payment, it can be done as a one-off transaction via the payment
button on the website.

Can I pre order for more than 4 weeks in a row?
As we may make changes to our service and offering you can only order weekly for 4 weeks at the moment.

Can I recycle my box? 
Yes, the boxes are recyclable. Under normal circumstances we would be happy for you to bring back your boxes so that we could reuse them, however, due to Covid-19, we are unable to do so for health and safety reasons.
